The MANIFÆSTO project is a concept album that consists of 12 songs that interpret the 20th-century avant-garde art manifestos in a variety of musical and literary styles.

Every song in this project revolves around one or multiple writings from the period (journals, critical articles, books, letters, etc.) The music is arranged around the aesthetic(s) of the period and adjusted to the intellectual as well as emotional “resonance” of each manifest.

This personal singer-songwriter engagement with the form of the manifesto itself aims to reconstruct the 20th century artistic and socio-political thought and present them in a more engaging and palatable way - via song.

All works were written between 2019 and 2024.
